On behalf of the President of the University, Prof. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Hamid, the Vice Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Mshari Ayad Alosaimi, sponsored the virtual opening of the activities of the “Your Specialization” program, in the presence of a number of deans of the colleges and the supporting deanships and their agents, today Monday: 2/8/1442 H.
The program is one of the most important annual programs held by the Deanship of the Preparatory Year in cooperation with the relevant faculties, with the aim of guiding students to the appropriate specialization and guiding them within scientific steps commensurate with their scientific abilities, answering their inquiries, and helping them determine their desires and tendencies according to their aspirations, and their scientific abilities to choose a specialization University.
The ceremony prepared for this occasion began with a welcome introduction to the guests and the best of what the program began with fragrant verses from the Holy Qur’an, then the Dean of the Preparatory Year, Dr. Fahd bin Shuhail Al-Alawi, delivered a speech welcomed by the sponsor of the program, the Vice Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Mshari Alosaimi, who also welcomed In the honorable presence, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Dr. Bushra bint Ahmed Al-Hammad, and the deans of the faculties and the supporting deanships and their representatives, and their sons, male and female students, were welcomed. Dr. Al-Alawi indicated that your specialization program is being held for the seventh time in a row and for the first time remotely, in an experience that the Deanship, in cooperation with the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education, was keen to take all measures that would make this program a success, given its utmost importance.
All relevant university faculties also participated in this remote program and provided a presentation and detailed explanation of all the information that the student needs. College of Engineering, College of Engineering and Computer Science, and College of Science and Human Studies.
It is worth mentioning that the Deanship hosted a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, the pharmacist: Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Dosari, to talk about his university experience.
The program is scheduled to be accompanied by some events that include the provision of several training courses, including a training course for male and female students entitled: How to choose a university major, presented by Dr. Ali Al-Arjani, a course entitled: How to determine your career path presented by Dr. Khaled Al-Sahli, and a course entitled Steps to choosing a major for female students, presented by trained professor Ilham. Al-Shammari and a course entitled Determining the professional future of female students, presented by Prof. Raja Abdel-Fattah.
Dr. Al-Alawi praised the efforts made by the deanship's team in both parts of the program to make the program appear in the best way.
