On Monday 12/12/2022, the Vice Presidency for Educational and Academic Affairs, represented by the Deanship of Development and Quality, organized a program to prepare new faculty members for the academic year 2022-2023 in the theater of the Faculty of Medicine at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. The program was held under the patronage of Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi the University of PSAU in the theater of the Faculty of Medicine.
The program witnessed the participation of more than 100 faculty members from all branches of the university. A number of Vice presidencies, deanships, and departments participated in presenting the events. The participating entities are the Vice Presidency for Educational and Academic Affairs, the Deanship of Development and Quality, the Vice Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Human Resources Department, and the Deanship of IT and Distance Learning.
The program discussed several topics needed by the new faculty member such as the role of the faculty member in quality assurance and academic accreditation, rights and duties of the faculty members, along with the scientific research at the university, and the e-services provided to faculty members.
At the end of the program, the participants expressed their satisfaction with the program and the information that was provided to them in the various discussion sessions.
