The President of the University, Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Hilal Al-Talhi, crowned this morning, Wednesday, at the University Administration Theater, the students who won the sixth edition of the Talent Competition, in a ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, in the presence of the university’s vice deans, deans of faculties and support deanships.
The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran, after which the student Abdullah Al-Shathri gave a speech to the participants in the competition, in which he thanked the University for their care, encouragement and support for the students by nurturing and developing their talents.
After that, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Thalab Al-Shakrah, delivered a speech on this occasion, in which he mentioned that today at the university we celebrate the winners of the talent competition organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs to reveal the talents of students, take care of them and employ them in the various university programs.
After that, Al-Shakrah reviewed the number of participations in the competition, where the number of participations in the faculties of the university reached more than 300, and the number of posts nominated for the final arbitration was 125, which came on eight different axes.
Then samples of student talents participating in the competition were presented.
For his part, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hilal Al-Talhi, said during his speech on this occasion that one of the happiest tasks that I undertake is the participation of our students in their activities, as it is of great importance, and that the student is the foundation upon which the university is built.
Al-Talhi stressed that the Deanship of Student Affairs was found to support and serve students, and we in the university administration are in the service and support of this deanship, and God willing, we will give such activities all support in all aspects. In the service of their community and country.
After that, the winning students received their honor from the sponsor of the ceremony.
